1st Period Project

The ICTs are very well used in the education area.The technology is making a revolution in all habits, including education. Now a days there are many ways from learning like an online school.These are some examples of ICTs that are used in technology:

-Online learning:this gives better or more information for the students to learn and know about.

-Full-time online schools:people can enter an school from the comfort of their home in a high or low level of education.

-Open educational resources:

-Blended learning:this type of learning is an opportunity to have online school face-to-face with an expert or specialist.

-Use of digital resources:this are documents or text books with good and extense information that are open to all public

-Computers and portable devices like cellphones and IPads:this are used to communicate with other students and teachers, download documents, have digital text books,etc.

-Projectors:it help the teachers to have a graphical explanation or presentation for all students to see it.

-Online and audio books:are helpful for the people that don’t have time to sit down and study or for gathering information.

My conclusion of this investigation is that we have lots of ways of learning that we don’t know. This are innovated ideas that have been popular in the last few years.The technology helps us in different areas of our lives and education is one of the most important of them just because education is the base for having a work for a living and for having the knowledge to accomplish whatever you want in  your life.

Areas where ICTs are used

1-Education

-Computers:to have a more detailed investigation or work.We can search for information. 

-Projector:for teachers to have a better graphical way to explain the students.

-iPad: has the uses of a computer but is more comfortable and portable.

2-Transport

-Car:it helps us to move through the city in a faster way.It also is more comfortable than the bus.

-Boat:they are used for commerce and cruises around the world.

-Airplane:it helps us to go from a country to another that are acrossed the sea.

3-Public Administration

-e-Government:it gives the government the opportunity to publish their ideas on internet.

-Information:it provides public information that is useful for the community.

-Internet kiosks:they are used to have access to important information.

4-Medicine

-Robots:they are used to do surgeries in some hospitals around the world.

-X-rays:helps the doctors and the patients to know if they have something broken or something stuck inside their bodies.

-Safety:now a days there are secure ways to do an operation or surgery cause we have the knowledge of the technology. 

My conclusion of this challenge is that I learned a lot about all the ways communication and information are distributed. You can find either one of them in almost every place you go.The ICTs are essential for our daily life’s.

“Internet and Cloud Services”

Internet is a globally connected network that is used to transmit data through various types of media.A browser is a software program for displaying and accessing websites on the internet.Examples of browsers are:safari,chrome,fire fox,internet explorer,opera.A search engine is a service that allows Internet users to search for content via the WWW.Examples of search engines are:Google,Yahoo,iAsk,Bing,MSN.And finally the cloud service is something that provides many services for storage/backup data and has a database.

My Favorite TV Show

The name of my favorite TV show is "That 70's Show".It's about a group of friends that live their lifes together.They usually hangout in a basement and is mainly about comedy.I like it because they make me laugh a lot and it keep me entertain for a long time.The main charactes are:Erick,Donna,Michael,Jacky,Hyde and the parents of Erick.They usually hang out in the basement of erick's houses, they also hang out in restaurants and movies.The jokes they make are really funny.+

Networks and WWW

The network is a group of computer and other hardware devices that are linked together to facilitate communication.The types of networks are LAN(Local Area Network),MAN(Metropolitan Area Network) and WAN(Wide Area Network.

The World Wide Web(WWW) is a network of online content that is interlinked with HTML pages that was originally designed by Tim Bernard-Lee in 1991.

Information and Communication Technologies

The ICT or information and communication technologies are the components that enable the modern computing to work.All devices, networking components, applications and systems that combined allow people and organizations to stay communicated or in contact with the digital world or the network.Some components, such as computers, smartphones, digital TVs and robots.The people use the ICT to investigate through the network, and most of the organizations use it for doing work.We also use them in science and in our daily life’s(for new discoveries and keep communication with people). I use them when I’m doing homework(IPad and computer),when I’m chilling in the house(smartphone),when I play video games(console) and in school(IPad and computer).The ICT help us in many ways and  I can say that much things will be harder without ICT.
